Although she became very close to achieving her objectives, she was ultimately defeated by the Wizard and would fall off the edge of her Shadow Palace, being sent into the icy reaches of the Outer Void.Īge: Unknown (Stated to be thousands of years old. Unconcerned, Morganthe would leave the comet and return to Khrysalis to prepare for her ultimate goal, which was to rewrite the Spiral in her image through the combined powers of Shadow Magic and the Song of Creation. The resurrection process would ultimately corrupt Malistaire's spirit and amplify his rage and pain, causing him to viciously attack the Wizard while they were on the comet Xibalba. To that end, Morganthe would also travel to Dragonspyre and resurrect the corpse of Malistaire Drake in order to have him aid with summoning and controlling the Lords of Night. Thousands of years later, Morganthe would reappear in Celestia to again master the Astral Magics and would continue her journey back to Zafaria and recover her Deck of Shadows in an effort to fulfill what she believed to be the Grand Prophecy. Some time afterwards, Morganthe would launch another military campaign, conquering Zafaria and reigning as its absolute ruler until the Council of Light defeated and banished her and stole her Deck of Shadows. Her invasion failed, ending with the flooding of Celestia, and she returned to Khrysalis to raise a new army. This spurred Morganthe to launch an invasion across Celestia to learn the secrets of Astral Magic from its creators. It was in Khrysalis that she unlocked her ability to use Shadow Magic, but she failed to master Star Magic during her time at the Alcazar of Radiant Judgement. As a result, her deck and wand were confiscated and she was expelled from Ravenwood after a brief duel against Malistaire Drake, who had been sent to censure Morganthe by Merle Ambrose.ĭesperate to continue practicing magic in any way she could, Morganthe eventually found her way to Khrysalis where she was hailed by the Spider Magi as the prophesied child they had been in search for. Her forbidden research culminated with an Astral Magic experiment that almost destroyed Wizard City. Nevertheless, she accompanied an unaware Merle Ambrose to Ravenwood, becoming his best student. Not content with his slow and cautious training methodology, Morganthe would often delve into forbidden magic on her own, being responsible for the transformation of King Artorious into the fearsome Pendragon. Born in the World of Avalon, she became the apprentice of the famed wizard Merle Ambrose. I guess it’s basically like the saying goes, “you win some, you lose some”.Morganthe was the main antagonist of the second arc of Wizard101. The design of the gear is pretty cool too, but it really isn’t worth it in my opinion for level 140. I do love how they made the hat to match the Rapturerider’s Skull as well as the set bonuses. I hope KI eventually brings the mount to the crown shop, because I rather buy it there than waste crowns on a pack to only get 7-day or 1-day mounts. Overall, the pack does have some good items, but you need to be extremely lucky to acquire them. You’d feel sick to your stomach because it’s expensive in the crown shop and hard to farm for. I beg of you not to discard it if you get it from the pack. This is a pretty rare seed, you get mega snacks from it. Thus far, I’ve only noticed the pack giving one seed. The treasure cards are pretty basic as well, some of them can be used for pvp if you choose to. You don’t want to regret selling them and then needing them for a recipe in the future. It can be sold for easy money on a rainy day. However, I don’t see the issue with keeping them, especially the snacks. The pet snacks and reagents in the Grim Ferryman Pack aren’t anything that can’t be found in the bazaar or at a vendor.
